Welcome Christmas!!!
It was a great week with my students! They did so well performing at the Christmas concert, creating 12 days of Christmas from around the world, adding up how much the 12 days of Christmas actually cost and tallying up their random acts of kindness.
The Santa gifts today were a hit as well. Thank you for all your contributions to Christmas Amalgamated. I would also like to thank you all for the thoughtful gifts for me. It’s been a pleasure to teach your children over the past 4 months.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Monster Making
We are in the middle of reading "The Monster's Ring" and will be participating in various activities around monsters in the next couple of weeks (descriptive writing, ASD, art). Here are some of the students monster faces/heads they created with their little buddies...
Peterson Creek
It was such an amazing afternoon venturing over to Peterson Creek. The sun was out, with a warm breeze and the colours were bright at the park. Students used compasses to find Points of Interest and observed and explored the park. We found a heart rock, huge leaves, clear stream, multiple trails and bridges. A great way to spend a fall afternoon.
