Week of January 11th
It was a productive and fun week.
Here are some highlights:
- Learned about Mindful and Unmindful thoughts
- Continued practicing our multiplication facts through puzzle sheets, word problems and prodigy
- Wrote "How and Why" Legends about Canada- example: How the beaver got his tail?
- Continued Traveling through Canada learning about Physical Regions and Natural Resources
- Read about The Arctic Winter Games
- Read Legends from Japan, Mexico and Africa
- in Science we discovered particles in matter and how they move depending on temperature and physical and chemical changes
- On Thursday and Friday we had Ms. CJ's grade 4's join us. We had a lot of fun connecting and being all together. We made up a winter story, participated in a stem activity "Help Harry", had some music fun with Ms. Latta and made minfulness bottles. Students worked so hard this week and worked well together.
